My Story

This is me and my sister, Patricia and Katie or A.K.A. "Gimpy & Limpy". We recently relocated in Hartwell August 2024, after my husband's passing, to a cute brick home with grass and trees around us for the animals. Together, we make soap so that people can be comfortable, without sensitive skin issues flaring up, when they bathe.

As a female founded and operated brand, our unique strength of inclusivity, empathy, and a deep understanding of our customers’ needs, allows us to authentically innovate and deliver superior quality goat milk soap for all.

Hi! I'm Patricia, a retired Atlanta/Suwanee esthetician/skincare professional for the past 42 years. Now retired, my passion is offering handmade goat milk soap for those of us with sensitive skin and eczema. In 2005, I started making soap for my facial and skincare clients who suffered with uncomfortable skin conditions and things just grew...

Holistic Goat Milk Soap is an artisan soap company. All soaps are made-cut-packaged by hand, from scratch, in small batches, using the old-fashioned method of making soap (cold process). Soaps cure for 4-6 weeks before being sold. All HGMS soaps are palm-oil free and contain all-natural ingredients. We use only safe phthalate/paraben-free fragrance oils. All soaps are left unscented, or are naturally scented with pure, high quality, organic essential oils for their reputed therapeutic properties. Soaps are naturally colored with clays, plant-based colorants or cosmetic micas but most are left with natural coloring. We use the cold process to preserve beneficial and nutritive properties of select ingredients in our recipes. Custom Essential Oil blends benefit skin and senses. Soap with purpose, for every body every day.

Decades later, Life threw a few curve balls and one spit ball so I closed up shop for a few years. Now, soap is "it" again and skins are happy once more. Plus, our new home smells great lol

If you ever have any skin concerns, please feel free to email me. I love to help people with problem skins, as it affects me everyday too, so I understand ;)

Happy Skin & Bubbles!
Patricia

My daughter Christi helped me grow my skincare business when we lived in Suwanee. For 7 years we bumped butts in the little lab until I was able to move into a 7 room medical suite.

Some may remember us as A Gourmet Soap Shop at the Suwanee and Lawrenceville, GA farmers markets way back when...somewhere around 2012? My husband Michael hand poured beeswax candles.

Nature has the Answer!

Three people who have influenced me the most in a code of ethics and using Nature as the backbone of my skincare are my mum, Dorothy Beatrice Taylor Lamb, Hippocrates and Jacques Cousteau.

Growing up in a convent in Europe where everything was home grown, home made, organic, all greatly influenced her way of living. Later, as a nurse in London during WWll, she was a natural healer. Some of her last words to us kids were "work with Earth". Makes you wonder what she saw on the other side?

And two popular and very serious phrases:

Hippocrates: "Let thy medicine be thy food and thy food be thy medicine."

Jacques Cousteau: "For most of history, man has had to fight nature to survive; in this century he is beginning to realize that, in order to survive, he must protect it."
